THE IMPORTANCE OF EFFECTIVE LOGO DESIGN FOR EVENTS, PRODUCTS AND PROGRAMS

leave a comment »

Your project logo, just like your business logo, should encapsulate your projects unique personality. It serves as the emblem and is every bit as important as the name to create immediate recognition of your event, product or program.

YOUR PROJECT LOGO SHOULD WORK ON THREE LEVELS:
Connect: A logo must connect and tie together the entire brand and project strategy into a identifiable symbol, graphic or icon. This identifiable piece of art should be kept simple yet visually charming and versatile to suit various print and online mediums.
Appeal: It must appeal to your customer desires and be brilliant enough to create trust. It is imperative that your logo works on an instinctive level – using tone and colour that identify with your audience.
Define: It must define your project existence. Your structural elements which include typography, graphics, symbols and icons should convey the purpose of the project, its positioning, meaning, offers, price etc.

THE BENEFITS OF GOOD LOGO DESIGN:
Project Reflection: Your logo captures the essence of your event, product or program. It’s a reflection of everything you stand for – your goals, objectives and nature of your special project. It‘s memorable and helps your target distinguish your event, product or program.
Marketing Tool: It’s the backbone of your brands existence and serves as an integral element of your branding and entire marketing strategy. Uniquely designed, it sets you apart from your competitors.
Consumer Confidence: A good logo design creates a professional image, instills stability and increases customer confidence in your project.

Simply put, your logo is the centrepiece and the symbol that represents everything your project believes in and stands for.
